+1, with huge thanks to you, Mark! In macOS Finder, I have made an alias for the /lilypond-binaries/ folder and put that alias in an easy-to-find location for future reference. I suggest that we add Mark’s solution to the LilyPond documentation! Knute, it’s probably worth adding this solution to the Frescobaldi Manual <https://frescobaldi.org/uguide.html> — both 1. the fact that one can download LilyPond releases directly from within Frescobaldi and 2. how one can find Frescobaldi-downloaded LilyPond and its associated files using Mark’s method. (I’m not very familiar with the Frescobaldi documentation; if these topics are already covered, please ignore this suggestion.)
