Hello all,

yesterday I updated my Frescobaldi flatpak from the flathub beta
channel. when I launched the flatpak, I saw (to my surprise) that it
said 'Frescobaldi 4.0.0' on the splash screen. And when you compare the
information about Frescobaldi 3.3.0 with version 4.0.0, you can see
quite a few differences there (see attachment): newer versions of
Python, python-ly, PyQt, but no qpageview, poppler and python-poppler.

Obviously someone is busy with Frescobaldi development, but first puts
all the new stuff into a flatpak regardless of the Github official
version.

Just out of curiosity: what does this all mean? Is this a developers'
playground, and will we see these achievements on Github as well soon?
If so, that would be great news...

Thanks for updating me...
