There are essentially *no* native symbol libraries available, but that should not disturb you too much. You can instead - use any glyphs from any system-installed font - draw custom fonts using PostScript paths - include images ... and especially you can wrap all these into semantically meaningful commands and make them accessible to handwritten or generated input.
