Hi Matthew,

Indeed, beams and stems are graphical elements not font objects. But curiously,
I have only seen this beam squashing effect with the PDF sample of the November
2.0 font. I am unable to reproduce the effect in my engraving work. I am
currently in communication with the developer about this and we are trying to
find the origin of the issue. Curiously it is particularly noticeable in the
Francois Couperin piece, and I am a Couperin specialist!

I suspect they're graphics, not font glyphs, and so this may be an issue
with the engraving software used to produce the file and nothing to do
with the font as such.
