There’s something to be said for having one person produce a whole
font. We shouldn’t complain that it’s available for Lilypond, when the
default thinking would just be to make it available for Finale &
Sibelius. Maybe Piéchaud knows that the look of the music is why many
of us are using Lilypond. If I preferred the look of November to Feta
enough to justify the price (or it solved a particular problem) I
wouldn’t hesitate to use it, at least for typesetting stuff I wished
to retain the copyright of.
