I would not recommend thinking of it like that, you enter your music
using the actual names of the notes you are entering. So you always type
fis if you mean f-sharp, regardless of preceding key signatures or
notes.
The Denemo "trick" is just a keypress-saver, it makes the entry method
less elegant but once understood generally saves time.
