Using an \include is a great way to simplify the example, it's just that the file ("old-hundredth-example.ly <http://old-hundredth-example.ly>") doesn't seem to exist in my LilyPond install. (I was testing everything under 2.25.19.) Is it possible that the file somehow just wasn't bundled with 2.25.19?

Distributing the file with LilyPond was not intended. I don't think it would make sense either.

I'm not sure how to satisfy this desire without bloating LilyPond or the Notation Reference. Do we have techniques for linking from the NR to supplementary material?
