My GUB build failed again yesterday. The log output is:

checking whether make supports nested variables... (cached) yes
checking for x86_64-freebsd6-gcc... x86_64-freebsd6-gcc

configure: error: in `/home/gub/NewGub/gub/target/freebsd-64/build/fontconfig-2.12.1':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

Can anyone suggest what the error might be?

(I'm sending this directly to David K and Masamichi as well as the mailing list, since I have problems mailing direct to the maillist and Gmane seems to be down).
