Hi Arnold, Phil and David, thanks for your answers!
Just for the record: the image I sent is the actual Lilypond output. I think the easiest way to handle volta brackets is either using the anchor calculated by bar-line::calc-anchor or the left and right edge of the (span) bar, i.e. the bar stencil without the repeat dots. I am currently rethinking the new bar line code in http://codereview.appspot.com/6498052 Perhaps I rewrite it so that the span bar line starts at x = 0, so placing a volta hook over the thin bar line would be straightforward. Hello Marc, I also detected (before), the horizontal position of the hooks is not optimal - especially on line breaks. I'm working on a callback function (scheme) for the /shorten-pair/ property (which shifts the positions horizontally) - return value will depend on the 'after line breaking barline glyph' and the line-break-position (begin of line, end of line, somewhere between). I think, on Monday I can send you more information. (If I'll not be ready, you'll have to wait an additional week ... ) ArnoldTheresius -- View this message in context: http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/exact-placement-rules-for-volta-brackets-tp131790p131820.html Sent from the Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
