Hello Marc, I also detected (before), the horizontal position of the hooks is not optimal - especially on line breaks. I'm working on a callback function (scheme) for the /shorten-pair/ property (which shifts the positions horizontally) - return value will depend on the 'after line breaking barline glyph' and the line-break-position (begin of line, end of line, somewhere between). I think, on Monday I can send you more information. (If I'll not be ready, you'll have to wait an additional week ... )
