It might be worth your comparing the differing output by eye - the regtest checker only gives a rough idea of where the differences lie. Failing that, I think I could create a windows .exe if the patch was in an accessible branch on git, and could run my regtest pixel comparator. That would take a while, though, so I' prefer only to do it if all else failed.
Looking at the differences in out/test-results/index.html, I see some blur around notes
or bar lines, but the differences seem to be very small.
A click on 'details' shows a lot of entries like

Stem: 0.056319, Stem: 0.056319, Stem: 0.056319, Stem: 0.056319, BarLine: 0.050704, ...
I don't know if this is acceptable, and still I do not understand how these
differences can occur from the scheme code ...
