I would be willing to mentor somebody.  I can do autobeaming, fret diagrams,
and introductory metafont. I can also do most Scheme, and some C++.  More
advanced C++ stuff is a reach, but I'm willing if needed.

As a potential initial assignment, I could mentor Aleksandr Andreev on
Kievan square notation.
