both solutions eliminate dynamics and articulations on all notes! i tried to implement the filter you gave right after the definition of transposed-notes in makeOctaves but i get only errors or no effect... then there is another problem: fingerings for single notes are a sub-class of articulations while in chords they are directly applicable - imo they should be moved to the note they belong to, which is inside the chord! finally i'd like to qualify the importance: in any case one will have to reedit the new lilypond notes to add the fingerings manually, an automated calculation of those being unfeasible.
