If it's not too late, could I ask you to stop immediately and wait a few months? Before I start the Grand Organization Project, I will ensure that whatever parts of the CG that are relevant are up to snuff. I will take responsibility for making certain that the CG instructions are good, or else take responsibility for warning and spoon-feeding contributors accordingly. I did this during GDP, I've done it for extra doc helpers and the Bug Squad. Please believe me when I say that I can do this competently. However, I am **not** prepared to do this for code contributions at this time. I take no responsibility for the current state of the CG with regards to lilybuntu, lilygit, compiling, code style, etc etc. Please wait. I'm certain that you can be a splendid contributor/developer, but I do not believe that it would happen this time. I know it's very inconvenient to be asked to wait -- especially since I cannot give you an exact time -- but I simply can't do anything better than this. (at least, not without tossing my PhD out the window) Cheers, - Graham _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
