This is basically what happened in the French-speaking world, except that there was no technical infrastructure to integrate a translation of the documentation when the list was created. This is perfectly acceptable, and I think a confirmation of Valentin, the other administrator, will be enough to decide to request it to Savannah hackers. As you already told, Francisco made a good point for not putting -user in the name. We'll certainly need a second LilyPond-related French-speaking list within a few weeks, but it may be better that it remains outside of GNU anyway. Best, John
