I've updated the issue accordingly: http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=845 > I have installed the Lilybunto OS onto a > VM and seem to have managed to follow instructions to > compile (I didn't see any errors) and > I can see a THANKS file but not an Authors, anyway..let me know. If you've compiled the documentation (with "make doc"), then you've already gone far beyond the requirements for this issue. :) First, please do a "git pull -r". I've just updated the file for you, so make sure you get this update. You will be editing this file: Documentation/web/basic-authors.itexi I know the format looks a bit weird, but fundamentally all you need to care about are the lines like this: -------------- @item Firstname Lastname: blah blah blah. -------------- Your first task is to take the material at the bottom of the file (marked "OLD MATERIAL"), and move it into the relevant "previous contributors" list. If the item includes a website, please check that the address is still valid; if it isn't, delete the @uref{} portion. The lists should be ordered alphabetically by last name. After that, please send a me patch. (instructions are listed in CG 1) I know this is easy, but it will let us test that everything is working. The next steps are only slightly harder. :) Cheers, - Graham _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
