Just for the record: I'm perfectly fine with re-licensing my contributions from GPL v2 to GPL v2+. In fact, I don't really mind about the license. I would even be most comfortable with a BSD- or MIT-type license (i.e. can also be used in proprietary apps). However, I don't want to sign my contributions over to the FSF, since I want my contributions to help Lilypond in whatever ways might be needed, even commercial or proprietary. I don't want them as "weapons" in the hand of the FSF (i.e. use them to do what they think is best for open source, even if it might not be best for Lilypond).
