I also got these warnings with 2.11.28. This is the first time I've
tried this trick on linux, so I'm not certain if this is a recent
problem or not. I'm considering compiling guile myself (Debian _still_
doesn't have 1.8.2, even in unstable!), but it would be nice if the
EXTERNAL_BINARY trick worked for anybody else who wanted to help with
the docs.
