I have tried to get gub working today, and there are problems. Furthermore, I won't have a good Internet connection until wednesday, so I suspect it will take some time before gub works.
OK; the alternative to feeding me well tested patches, is putting less well tested stuff, but then you have to be available to fix problems as soon as they arise. If your connectivity is flaky, it's better to test more carefully.
Can I commit bugfixes for those old problems by sending patches to you meanwhile, or do you prefer to wait?
Yes please do.
(current gub problem: because of the 64-bit problem, guile required two makes to build, so gub-builder now barfs and wants me to pass --force-package, but I can't find where to add that flag)
Yes, I will look into that; there are a couple of patches floating on the net for that. You can do
gub-builder.py -p local --force-package build guile
BTW, will gub need to download much more from internet after make bootstrap succeeds?
Yes, try "make download" to get everything. -- Han-Wen Nienhuys - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanwen LilyPond Software Design -- Code for Music Notation http://www.lilypond-design.com _______________________________________________ lilypond-devel mailing list lilypond-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-devel
