And I know what you mean by the latter: my comment wasn't meant as if I am hurt or something. It was meant as an explanation why this extension hasn't made it yet into MediaWiki. Anyway, I think that come Sunday evening, I'll have a new version (with MIDI and multiple pages) and I will try again.
