:-) So - I'm talking the Xft.dpi setting which is used by GNOME and LibreOffice; cf. $ xrdb | grep Xft > scorpius pturmel ~ > $ xdpyinfo | egrep "(dimensions|dots per inch)" > dimensions: 3600x1080 pixels (905x272 millimeters) > resolution: 101x101 dots per inch Sure; and these numbers have (traditionally) been notorious for their unreliability - but perhaps that has improved in recent times.
