--- Comment #2 from Ismael Cedillo <[email protected]> ---
Hi...

As You and me can see in the images in odp file, in cells A1 and A2 the applied
format
is MM/DD/YY and it is no matter what you as User define in format, (in LO
4.2.0.1rc and 4.3.0.0).
Did you test that in correct version of LO (4.2.0.1rc and 4.3.0.0)?

Hi Ismael, As I can see, in cells A1 and A2 the applied format is MM/DD"/YY",
an User
defined format, you can see it with Ctrl+1 (Menu/Format/Cells) in Numbers tab.
in any other cell except those enter a date, it is well formed with the default
date format DD/MM/AA for Spanish locale. Properly, like "/YY" is between quotes
then it is considered as literal and not
affected with the change of locale. Following steps works fine for me with:
Win7x64Ultimate
Versión: 4.2.0.1 Id. de compilación: 7bf567613a536ded11709b952950c9e8f7181a4a
Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 22355042a6fc7aecf3caab69b3fa3be1430b697f
TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2013-12-17_23:17:35 Please try
resetting the user profile, sometimes solve strange issues.

changed.
