--- Comment #38 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> ---
Thank you for reporting Martin, Jean-Baptiste, Michael, Colin, Olivier and
others.

It is difficult to fully make sense of all these reports, probably because:
1. Much has changed since this was filed (notably, see bug #129547).
2. There are (potentially) lots of conditions.

I would invite everyone who reported here to provide up-to-date information on
their experience.

For all future reports, please include all of the following:
1. your OS / desktop environment
2. your LibreOffice version
3. the language of your LibreOffice UI
4. each of the keyboard layouts you tested
5. if you use X11 (not macOS nor Windows):
  1. each of the Visual Class Library (VCL) plugins you test:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Environment_variables#General
  2. if you experience with a Qt-based VCL plugin, it may be relevant to check
how Qt interprets the shortcut, to rule out a bug in Qt itself (which is far
from impossible). For tools, see
https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTBUG-116873?focusedCommentId=2621959

For each combination, please report the result (no effect, or insertion of a
character).

With LibreOffice 26.8.1.1 on Windows 11 26H2 in en-US, the following layouts
work:
1. the traditional QWERTY USA, indeed
2. French Canadian
3. CAN/CSA Z243.200
4. Czech (regular)
5. French (traditional AZERTY)
6. Belgian Dutch (Windows “Belge (virgule)”, aka BEC, KLID 0001080c (fr-BE))
…whereas in the following layouts, the shortcut has no effect:
1. Czech (programmers)
2. Swedish
