            Bug ID: 174199
Summary: Notebookbar (NB) per module background color controls
                    in UI
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Enhancement request for a place in UI to set colro and transparency measure for
Notebookbar (NB) per module background colors. Since this feature *only*
affects the Notebookbar assemblages, maybe the placement in UI would be best on
the View -> User Interface dialog?

Or, alternatively on the Options -> Appearance tab (but since this is only
implemented on the NB, not really much use there)?

Two tracts:

1 -- Provide a UI with no substantive change to the NB feature to:
a.) a checkbox to force NB transparency to 255 and effectively disable it,
b.) a spin box showing the default 150 of 255 value.

2 -- as an actual possible change/improvement to the feature, could we provide
some means to adjust from these default colors as hardcoded [1]?

TextDocument // #1a85d1
SpreadsheetDocument // #3cbc45
PresentationDocument // #e75729
DrawingDocument // #e5b443

Those are the base colors that transparency is applied to at the 150 of 255
level. Possibly restore some portion of what was stripped out of theming [2]
and come up with some way for users to set the base color?
