On macOS 10.15.8 (Catalina) opening a document does not work any more.
The menu's Open... dialog gives a spinning wheel after which nothing happens.
The same happens using the start center.
The only way to open an existing document seems to be double-clicking it in the
Finder window or using the "recent files" dialog.
