Thank you for this answer, but I already tried that and it doesn't solve the
issue.
If the indexes and spacings are all at 0, there are no space between the number
and the footnote, which is what is expected.
When we use the index value, it has an effect on the numbers (which is fine),
but the space between the numbers and footnote changes depending on the length
of the numbers (2,3,4 digits...), which is not visually expected and a bit ugly
in a document.
So, we have no real control on a fixed distance between numbers and the text,
which is the problem here. At least, the space should stay the same.
