So, the old drivers have apparently been disabled, but the new ones
aren't built. You probably need to go into kernel config (Device Drivers
-> Serial ATA and Parallel ATA).

And for the CD drive, you probably also need to enable SCSI CDROM
support under Device Drivers -> SCSI device support.
