How do I know it's mounted and used ?
cat /proc/swaps cat /proc/meminfo
How can I turn on logging of the boot process to a file so I can check what happens ? Must I modify the 'functions' file in /etc/rc.d/init.d to turn on boot logging or is there an easier way ?
If you've followed the default settings with LFS, logging should be on already. Check the /var/log/sys.log file.
