Tks It allows you to log in directly as lfs, or to su into it from non-root. Are you sure you're ready for LFS? It is reasonably basic knowledge that root - and only root (well, user 0) - can use su without giving a password. If you didn't know this already, I'm not sure you'd be prepared for some of the real surprises LFS can throw at you, or that you'd benifit from the educational aspect of the process.
