Hi Jeremy,

No, if you boot your AMD64 machine with a 32bit liveCD you'll be running
all in 'legacy' mode, that's in AMD terms, 32bit environment, so if you
build an LFS system, it will be surely 32bit, not 64bit, for that
purpose I think you need to do a cross-build, not a 'native' build, as
the 'native' build will be influenced by the current environment mode
(in this case, legacy mode, or put it like before... 32bit mode)
