I didn't advertize it yet as it is still in development, but the script
init-net-rules.sh in udev-lfs-187-3.tar.bz2 should make the rules 
without any new dependencies.   It is designed to be run manually from 
Chapter 7 while still in chroot.

The 70-persistent-net.rules file should be created automatically at the 
first boot if it is not created in Chapter 7.
