I ran into a couple of small snags with booting (especially forgetting to set mount as setuid root during the util-linux-ng build), but I booted into my brand new LFS system for the first time tonight. At this point, I have some choices. I _may_ start all over again with LFS 6.7 on a real computer (my Pentium III IBM laptop), or I could continue with LFS 6.6 in the virtual machine (running on my fast desktop computer) and try to build a bunch of stuff from BLFS as package users. At this point, I'm not sure, but I suspect I'm going to start over with a real computer, although I don't fancy building glibc and gcc on a Pentium III. Still, I suspect that I'll get some great performance from the LFS build on that older hardware.
