If I understand correctly it would mean that some daemons (ssh, cups) 
wouldn't be started until they were actually needed (the "event" being 
that someone tries to ssh into the box or tries to print something). 
That sounds quite interesting. I run cupsd all the time but I haven't 
printed anything in weeks.
Its ability to start services in parallel sounds interesting too. I 
imagine it would be complicated to set up. I'd be interested to see this 
in BLFS, or even to read a hint about how to set Upstart up so that it 
works with the LFS bootscripts.
