I'm astonished that anyone still uses token ring. I salute your efforts to keep an obsolete technology going, and I'm known for having used weird things (for linux,amigaone and ppc64, otherwise jupiter ace, CP/M on a z80, MVS, and for a couple of months token ring if someone hadn't unplugged one of the machines), but I think this is a bit *too* far off the beaten track for LFS.
