I think if we went adding software that is "nice to have" LFS would quickly become quite bloated. I consider a text browser to be an essential part of getting your system up and running, but that is something that I firmly believe belongs in BLFS. If a user needs wget or DHCPCD, then it is down to the user to hop over to BLFS themselves and install them.
