The last information that can be extracted from the LFS Trac for ticket #2074 (texinfo-4.11) stated that we had to wait until gcc-4.2.2 was out, now gcc is out and in fact used in the development branch of the book, is it ready for inclusion?
I can't mention the CLFS patches for both binutils/texinfo as I tried to apply them in my latest attempt and it doesn't apply (taking into account I also wanted to apply the branch update patch, so I rejected it in order to advance) and as indicated in my last post, LFS tend to apply patches for specific fixes, but anyway... Has anyone examined the situation since the last time it was commented on 29/09/07?
