I just came across this and think it is worth a mention in the book(s). http://www.freestandards.org/impl/
How The LSB-si is Built The LSB-si is built from clean upstream package sources. The build instructions are captured in a set of XML files which serve as input to a tool called nALFS; the concept is derived from the Linux From Scratch project. --- It would add more value to the project if the build passed the implementation tests. I may look at this in my "spare time" :) Thanks, Peter -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
