My patch is a hack, as I stated on my bug
report to sources.redhat.com.

There seems to be some invalid logic
in definitions of OPENAT and openat symbols.
Till this is resolved, this hack is a way to use
the new glibc-20060813-CVS-HEAD on linux-2.6.18(-pre*).

This bleeding edge combination gives some amazing results
on the CPU and memory speed utilization,
see glibc-200608XX-CVS-HEAD ChangeLog (mmap, brk, etc.).
