My patch is a hack, as I stated on my bug report to sources.redhat.com.
There seems to be some invalid logic in definitions of OPENAT and openat symbols. Till this is resolved, this hack is a way to use the new glibc-20060813-CVS-HEAD on linux-2.6.18(-pre*). This bleeding edge combination gives some amazing results on the CPU and memory speed utilization, see glibc-200608XX-CVS-HEAD ChangeLog (mmap, brk, etc.). -- Moshe Gorohovsky A6 CC A7 E1 C2 BD 8C 1B 30 8E A4 C3 4C 09 88 47 Tk Open Systems Ltd. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - - http://www.tkos.co.il - -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
