WHY are you trying to discuss this privately? This seems perfectly
appropriate for lfs-dev, and a good solution that most should be able
to agree upon. If this was posted 2 weeks ago to the list instead of
to Jim privately, this could have been discussed, agreed upon and
maybe implemented already.

That was the point of this thread, Archaic, I said after Ryan and I
discussed this I would post a response. So let's just forgot the whole
thing and leave both projects separate.
