I think that's good. Whether it's called 6.1.2 or 6.2, we have stable system right now that's made some nice advancements from 6.1.1. Gcc-4.0 has been added, binutils-2.16.1 has been updated, UTF-8 support has been added, and hotplugging entirely through udev has been added. While we don't have the latest glibc, gcc and kernel headers, those are some pretty neat advancements that warrant a release in my mind. I say, let's get a release out now with these things. Then we'll have the proper frame to put glibc-2.4, gcc-4.1.0 and newer kernel headers into SVN where they could potentially cause major breakage. I'm all for keeping the stable version as close to the latest and greatest toolchain versions. The solution to that is to release more often.
