Yeah the wiki idea has it's strengths. People have more freedom to post stuff that they know about. But the experience of the LFS wiki suggests that it may not fit in with the culture of the LFS community. I remember going to the wiki a couple of times, there wasn't anything there worth reading, so I didn't go back. The only time I've found a wiki to be any use at all was when I was trying to get my tv card to work. Google I found a page in Ubuntu's wiki that told me stuff I hadn't found out in weeks of trying on my own. It was like gold dust.
But still, I have my doubts because of the history of the LFS wiki
