I saw that, too, and think it might be prudent to just remove those
lists outright. The new ones can be organized in a more proper way.
That's what I asked the gmane administrator to do. Unfortunately it
can't be done if we also want the entire archives to be imported to the
new list too. Apparently, if the news server has already seen a message
before it won't import it into a gmane archive (regardless of whether
it's going into a different/new newsgroup). That's why we're more or
less forced into keeping the current (dis)organisation of the groups on
gmane :(
