With all due respect Jim, your contributions have so far been worthless to this thread. What are you saying is not needed? Jeremy's suggestion that the package can be skipped, or the installation of the package altogether? This is a discussion of the proposal to add Cracklib to the default LFS build. I have yet to get anything from you positively or negatively. Please, just give your answer as "Yes, I think it is a good idea", or "No, it is not a good idea because ...." Now, the "...." above is mandatory, so that we can determine what is wrong with the proposal. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 21:24:00 up 124 days, 20:57, 2 users, load average: 0.09, 0.51, 0.63 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
