This is a non-consideration for BLFS. BLFS provides instructions to rebuild Shadow if Linux-PAM is installed. The instructions disable the libcrack stuff. CrackLib is called by PAM, not by Shadow in the BLFS method. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to add CrackLib to LFS. The BLFS instructions don't need to be changed at all (except for removing the "if CrackLib, if no-CrackLib stuff in the PAM files). -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 20:19:00 up 124 days, 19:52, 2 users, load average: 1.05, 1.02, 0.76 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
