Although I'd probably recommend Gmail on line in general for email management, I use Clawsmail, http://www.claws-mail.org/, which is fast and extensible. I added a button to let you write email in restructuredText, along with colored syntax highlighting via. Pygments. A long time ago, I'd have used MarkDown if I'd done it more recently. It has preview as well. But a lot of the time I'm using Yahoo mail on line, which is horrible, hence the top posting and HTML :-/ Cheers -Terry From: Edward K. There are substantial benefits to doing so, as I have just discovered: The advantages of composing in GitHub are huge. I'll be posting all long posts there, including my Engineering Notebook posts I particularly like the preview, edit, strikethrough and code listing capabilities. Being able to separate a long post into separate comments is also important. I can even more text from one comment to another. Finally, the GitHub editor feels much easier to use and looks way better. EKR-- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
