All that I can say Bill, is to keep up with the good work...I do too, enjoy you
efforts, and thank you for sharing.Now that the weather is getting better, I
too will be able to spend moretime in the shop. Thus I should be able to get
more projects done as well,and Yes Perhaps more videos. (when I have something
worth sharing.) ;-)

I have my son do the videoing when I can. other then that, I still fall back to
the old photo/still framing the story. Which I like to do more then video
recording. Sadly the step by step photo's just are not as popular with the
group like they use to be. And even more sad, to me, Is what I am looking to
make, most people in the group are not interested in. So I guess the videoing
of any of my project any time soon, Just may not happen until I can find the
happy medium of what I want to do ,and people will want to see. ;-)

floor it’s just very time consuming moving it to all the different locations

Just got home form work.
I very much like your acrylic pen. (I had wished more people would have replied
to your posting.)
Would it have worked out better if you had used the spindle motor drive to
rough cut the blank before cutting the rope?
I also wounder if cutting from the side would have offered a cleaner cut for
this type of project? I have not worked a lot with acrylics, and honestly do
not know what if the best method for cutting acrylics would be.
Your end results looks very nice.
Im sure this pen with be with you for many years to come.
