Just watched the "highlights" on ITV. The sending-off was a ludicrous over-reaction by the ref (?assistant) to a something and nothing event, but what was Thompson thinking about? If he'd left the guy alone he was well up for punching somebody and could have walked himself! I think we'll be out of the bottom three by this time next week as I think we'll beat Ipswich and Hull will lose at Cardiff, but by the end of play a fortnight today we'll be down and out. I just can't see us getting anything at Derby and Hull will account for Plymouth at home, no danger. Who would have thought we'd be brought to this six years ago when we reached the semi-final of the Champion's League. I'm surprised none of the papers have picked up on this and included it in their reports. I might write to some of the sports editors and draw it to their attention.
