Well................for the first time in years I was actually at a game and
then followed up reading Mr.Opinion's report. Very interesting.

I agree with a lot of what RW said, but some of it is way off-beam and confirms
my opinion that omce he's made his mind up about a player then that is it.

First off.................YES.........IT WAS A BRILLIAMT, BRILLIANT, THRILLING
NIGHT. If this was the best it's beem for yrs, then I was very lucky! In
general, I felt Leeds played with fantastic confidence skill and unbelievable
spirit. They certainly didn't look like a bottom of the table team. And
yes.........100% credit for that goes to Wisey. We let in a terribly soft goal
after 4 mins against a top 6 team.............that could have been curtains for
the whole staying-up project right there, but we just fought and battled our
way through to a brilliant victory. And Healy's goal goes right in there in my
top 5 Leeds memories EVER!

My scores on the doors:
Caspergren: Did look a little shaky on a couple of crosses but also made a good
punch and a great catch when they were throwing everything forward at the
death............and a relegation saving stop 1 v 1 with Nugent! 8
RichaRDSON...........agree with RW.......a few shaky moments in 1st half but
stuck at it well.....................6
Heath: He was vastly better than I expected after reading all the reports. I
thought he had an excellent match in general but had 2 horror moments which a
player in his position just cannot afford..........I think he was the one who
played Ormrod onside for the goal, and then there was that disastrous time
wqhen Nugent put him under pressure and he looked like he was running in sand,
Nugent robbed him and he just fell over and screamed at the ref for a freekick
which he was never going to get..........VERY lucky that Carpar saved his
arse..................7
Michaluk...............like the look of him........................8
Gray...............everything RW said...........FANTASTIC!...................10
Blake............Some brilliant stuff in the first half, extremely well taken
goal, then faded a bit. It's funny because I loved it when he lost the ball on
the edge of our box............it was a great thing to try and if it had come
off we were up for a great break, and the other bloke only won the ball because
he was so clueless he didn't even see the dummy let alone read
it.................but when half the crowd let out a good old Yorkshire moan, I
said to myself "That's Rich Walker and his
chums!"...................................9
Kish..............bit disappointed after what I had heard, but still v.
good................7
Douglas..............This man was fantastic...........a true captain, he was
everywhere, good on the ball, distributing well and driving the team
on..................................10
Lewis...............Superb...........committed, determined,
skilful...........also worked back well. Him & Micky Gray reminded me of the
Eddie/TC combination,a nd there's no higher praise than
that......................9
Cressy...............agree with RW splendid 2nd half..............did
brilliantly to set up the first goal and also Lewis for a ball at the far post
which he missed by a whisker................................8
Healy.............Yes he has an annoying propensity not to jump for high balls
and try feebly to win freekicks, but then again we shouldn't be playing those
balls into him. The whole crowd were whining at him all night b/c he had the
cheek to score for NI but never for us, and were calling for him to be subbed,
but the typically fickle twats loved him at the end. What an incredible finish
for his goal! He should never even have got to that ball, but to get in ahead
of the defender (without fouling him) and then flick it up from chest to
forehaed and nod it in.....it was fantastic!

Ricketts.............yes, but what a horrible moment it was when we saw him
there free at the back post, followed immediately by such a wonderful moment
when he missed!

The downside............it was madness to play such a high back line praying
foir offside against a team with a player like Nugent...especially when we did
it so badly (I wonder why...........anything to do with 3 loanees in the back
4?!) We got burned and let in a goal after 4 mins, and we were a whisker away
from a repeat at least 5 or 6 times after that, esp in the second half. All
the defenders played well individually, but as a unit they were shaky as hell.

What agony after we scored!!!! We had no idea how much time was left, but it
seemed to take hours!

Surely, with that passion conmitment and skill (and esp if we play more
sensible tactics at the back - or at least do it right) we will win our last 3
home games and stay up now!
