Quoting Paul Hirst <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: >> Crowds are up. Feeling around the place is lifting.
Who gives a shit who paid what. You pay what you were willing to pay at the time, if you were happy then be happy now as we march on on on. £15 is better than an empty seat - plain and simple. << I would totally agree with this. Filling the stadium has got to be a very important thing for numerous reason. It has simply got to help the team; sponsors are more likely to pay money if the team's playing in front of bigger crowds; you're more likely to attract players if they're playing in front of big crowds; the money doesn't end with tickets, people will spend money on parking at £5 a time, buy beer, programmes, pies etc; it means that younger fans will get into watching Leeds. I had a great time on Saturday and am not ashamed or embarrassed to say I went *because* they brought the price down to a sensible level. Hopefully these two games have been proof to Bates of what a stubborn, short sighted fool he's been to whack prices up so much and alienate people like me who would have continued to go had he not made such a ridiculous increase two seasons ago. £160 extra for seriously inferior football is not on. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
