Yep, same here. Whilst I have a soft spot for the smiley and peacock badges, and even the new shield one (reminds me of the euro campaigns), I would love to see the city crest again.
I suspect there may be financial issues though, like not being able to copyright the badge and therefore have any control over official looking merchandise! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of rich m Sent: 09 March 2007 11:19 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LU] another kit? regarding retro stuff.... i'm sure it's been mentioned before but would any of you like to see the 'risdale era' shield replaced with something more traditional? i grew up up with the peacock and the white rose but i'd love to see the city's crest on the shirt. rich >From: "Mark Humphries" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,<[email protected]> >Subject: Re: [LU] another kit? >Date: Fri, 9 Mar 2007 10:57:18 -0000 > >Admiral have done the kit for 2 years now haven't they? > >I was hoping they would continue and actually bring out some more retro >stuff. > >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: 09 March 2007 10:41 >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [LU] another kit? > >I notice there's an Admiral logo on the officious site - does this mean a >return to the glory days?? > >Gaffer > > >----------------------------------------- >This transmission may contain information that is privileged, >confidential, legally privileged, and/or exempt from disclosure >under applicable law.
